Our History
Born from a common desire of the members of the 1st International Information Forum in Yom in particular, and of the Yoowa sons and daughters in general, the NGO Suuru Yoowa Katəna or Katna (SYK), which means "Please, Yoowa, stay at home" in the Yom language, is dedicated to the fight against rural exodus and illegal emigration of young people in the North-West of Benin, particularly in the Donga department.

Our Mission, Vision & Values
Suuru Yoowa Katna (SYk) est une organisation non-gouvernementale engagée dans la promotion du développement durable local et la préservation de l'identité culturelle des jeunes Yoowa et Tanéka dans le Nord-Ouest du Bénin. Notre objectif est d'inciter les jeunes à demeurer dans leurs communautés, de valoriser leurs traditions et de les encourager à contribuer activement au progrès local.
